How to read the results

Monthly price is the carrier's quoted premium per month for your selected amount, duration and health rating, with monthly payment assumed. Rate class is the underwriting category the quote corresponds to; your final class determination happens during underwriting. Exam indicates if a medical examination is part of the underwriting; many modern programs skip exams for people who qualify. A.M. Best is a third-party measure of the carrier's financial standing.
